Lypossage
Lypotherapist, Spa and Lypossage Trainer Information
Lypossage is an all natural body contouring modality; it reduces the appearance of cellulite, assists the body in detoxifying, and improves the appearance of the skin.
This incredible body contouring modality helps to reshape the buttocks, thighs and abdomen, stimulates lymphatic flow in the body, and is a wonderful anti aging treatment for the face. Most clients prefer this type of body contouring to more invasive methods, such as liposuction or other treatments that claim to be "holistic", but involve needles.
This course is open to licensed massage therapists (all zones and advanced spa treatments) and estheticians (zone 3 and advanced spa treatments only).
More Lypossage Zones 1, 2, and 3 training information as well as Advanced Lypossage Spa training is found here: Lypossage Mississippi Blog.
As you browse Lypossage Mississippi, you will see my pages listed at the top of the page and on the right side of your screen. I have information on becoming a Lypotherapist; I have information for day spas to become LypoSpas, and I have opportunities to train professionals to become Lypossage Trainers.
Finally, on Lypossage Mississippi, I have a list of more continuing education classes that are concentric to Lypossage, as well as training dates and more information about me. Enjoy browsing my blog, and feel free to contact me at tupeloholisticcenter@gmail.com if you have any questions. I am happy to hear from you.
If you have never taken this course before, I offer this 4 day continuing education (NCBTMB 32 hours) for $895, which includes your manual and DVDs.
If you HAVE taken this course in the past, and would like a review course, I offer this service to current Lypotherapists for $495, which does not include DVDs or an updated manual. More information is found on this PDF file, Lypossage Training Review.
Emotional Bodywork Therapies
What is Emotional Bodywork and Integration Bodywork Therapy, and how can it help my clients?
Emotional Bodywork is a wonderful blend of CranioSacral Therapy, energy work (Reiki), and aromatherapy, that is used to assist in releasing emotions that hinder healing and well being; the focus of this modality is to release restrictions in the tissues, allowing emotions to come to the surface. I have spent several years developing this technique, and I have seen fabulous results in the health and well being of my clients.
Did you know that human beings are the only animals who have a hard time releasing trauma? Most other animals can deal with trauma on a daily basis, shake it off, and carry on with their lives; we, however, are unable to do so. In researching this phenomenon, I have discovered that the rational (human) side of our brains tends to bury trauma by allowing our bodies (tissues) to hold on to these emotions until we are better able to process what has happened to us. If, however, we do not deal with our emotions, we tend to hold these feelings in our tissues indefinitely. This leads to pain, disease, and deeper levels of trauma.
Emotional Bodywork and Integration Bodywork Therapy is a journey; it is safe, effective, and private. This therapy works very well in conjunction with other forms of therapy, including psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, etc. Please note that this modality is for therapists who have a license to touch. This list includes massage therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, Chiropractors, etc.
We have one more training date for this course in 2010. Class will be from October 23 - 25th; class times are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration is $495 and includes a manual. Please contact Dana at tupeloholisticcenter@gmail.com to register for this course.

Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy work technique that is used for stress reduction, relaxation, and for promoting healing. It is administered by light touch or by hovering hands over the client. Each person has a "life force": If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei (Ray) which means "Universal or Source" and Ki (Key) which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
